Selena Gomez opted for a chic, sexy look on the red carpet for the 2012 Glamour Women of the Year Awards, held at Carnegie Hall in New York City yesterday evening.
The actress wore a Giambattista Valli Spring 2013 frock.
Her sleeveless combination Giambattista Valli dress features a sheer organza and macramé bodice with a keyhole at the back, plus a wraparound skirt with a macramé peplum.
I love this grown-up look; I know many of you can’t get past the baby face, but she pulls this look off perfectly for me.
Dove-grey Rupert Sanderson pumps, a simple updo and an embellished clutch complete her look.

Selena’s choice of dress is beautiful. Perhaps shortening the length by a few inches without ruining the bias cut. Also another pump or heel would have made this look less matronly.

I don’t think that just because Selena has a ‘babyface’ that she should dress younger than she is. I am not a huge Selena fan, I don’t know much about her but I do enjoy her style. I do not think this dress is too mature for a young women of Selena’s age. I would wear this and I am only slightly older than her. I adore the dress and think she looks fabulous in it. I do find her hair and shoes to be lacking.
