The seventeen show for ‘Solo Moda’ had a special touch this week, style wise, as supermodel Nieves Alvarez wore looks which had recently been presented during the Spring 2013 Madrid Fashion Week with Alexis Bittar jewels.
Juan Vidal created the beautiful printed dress with an asymmetrical ruffled hemline. Even with Nieves’ stand out pink Christian Louboutin pink ‘Pigalle’ pumps, the dress still shines.
David Delfin’s colour-block one-sleeve unique look with a pleated skirt was styled with another pair of Christian Louboutin sandals. I love how Nieves has a knack of pairing the right shoes with the right dress.
I wish Nieves’ Angel Schlesser light blue pants had been hemmed up an inch or three. I get the shivers knowing pants are dragging on the floor. I love the striking electric blue cold-shoulder top to add a spark to this look, considering we can’t see her shoes.
Opting to go sexy, Nieves shows off her long, lean pins wearing a Maya Hansen corseted dress. With a standout print, one may have been tempted to ease off the statement jewels, but the supermodel adds a stunning Alexis Bittar necklace and bright red Roberto Verino sandals.
Nieves then moved on to a more subdued Duyos top, skirt, belt and shoes, which is a total runway look. This lady-like ensemble from the style to the colour couldn’t be more perfect for this beautiful supermodel.
I love the printed Angel Schlesser playsuit Nieves wore for her sixth look. It’s a shame this isn’t a standing picture. Black wedges by the same designer completed her look.
The final look was by Roberto Verino. I love the high-waisted pants accented with a silver Juanjo Oliva belt, but the love doesn’t extend to the blouse. I think I would’ve preferred the blouse in another colour. The same Christian Louboutin pink ‘Pigalle’ pumps from the first outfit?/look completed her look.

i STILL don’t know what “solo moda” is, nor have i looked into it…but at this point, who cares? she is the best-dressed tv host i think i’ve ever seen.
+1 . Exactly , I have never seen such a consistent best dressed host! And some of the looks are so drool worthy !
Can’t agree with Lee more.. thank u so much FC for introducing us to this sexy, stylish lady.. amazing choices.. love all the looks.. she upped her game this week
She just needs more features…. she slays!!!…
My favourite is the David Delfin look. But the rest is also gorgeous as always.
She’s amazing. Love that all green outfit!
those legs go on for days!!! so jealous!!!
CC
Why is she so perfect? FC does she has a stylist or she dresses herself?¿ all the clothes are so amazingly well put together.
Thanks for this discover!
She has a stylist
This woman is unreal, she can pull off anything. Love all the looks.
Juan Vidal: the bodice and print are pretty, not so the tacky short skirt. it looks like a beach coverup.
David Delfins: would have preferred it to be sleeveless, but it’s still a really cool dress and she wears it with attitude.
Angel Schlesser: other than the too-long pants, I really love the vibe of this ’30s cruise wear ensemble.
Maya Hansen: eww. No. That dress is about the size of a postage stamp!
Duyos: chic and elegant. Love it.
Angel Schlesser: not a fan of the playsuit or those chunky shoes.
Robert Verino: too much shiny and green.
the clothes are fantastic but im so bored of this mannequin.
I love the color block dress outfit and the green outfit the most. She looks phenomenal.
I die.
This is crazy insane good. Love the second look.
My best dressed celebrity of the year!
I love every single look !
Well, reading the comments here, it seems that I’m the only one who has mixed feelings about this. First the positive: she has an amazing figure and stunning eyes, and she can pretty much wear anything she likes. But her looks bore me. Yes she makes the outfits look perfect, but she doesn’t individualize them, doesn’t make them her own. The same hair, the same make-up, … It’s like a perfectly styled mannequin without personality. If I wanted to see depersonalized fashion, I would just go and watch the runway.
Giada, it’s 3 changes for each programme. it’s normal to have the same hair or make up for every 3 looks. And one of the main reasons that people love her is because she owns everything
Hey Kristen,
Is it broadcast live then? If so, I can understand why she would wear the same hairstyle and make up.
Wow again as always!!!! i adore her 5th look
First!!!!
Her 2nd colour-block look and the ladylike 5th stand out to me.
