I agree with you about the cheapy look, but I think it concerns the material of the dress, it’s to shiny somehow… hard to explain X)
That was my first thought as well. Its a gorgeous gown with a great fit (she has an awesome figure) BUT the color reminds me of a cheap prom dress from Windor or something. It would have been an amazing look had the dress been in a more elegant color.
+1 same thoghts here. For me is the combination of color, fabric and the seams in the front of the skirt.
That’s the same thing I thought when I saw pictures of the premiere yesterday. It’s just too cheap. And, actually, on the other pictures I saw, her makeup looked pretty terrible as well. It looks better in this one, though.

She’s on a roll. The color is stunning on her. The dress is difficult to pull off, but I think she does it! BDOTW-contender for such an avant-garde look…and her hair and makeup are flawless as always!

Satin is very difficult to work with, and with all those architectural seams it can look cheap depending on the lighting. However, I think it works in this dress and that she looks gorgeous. But this dress does not surpass the white gown from earlier in the week for me.
