Marisa Tomei surprisingly took in the Berluti Menswear Spring/Summer 2013 show during Menswear Paris Fashion Week at the Jardin du Palais Royal in France on Friday.
The actress wore a Roksanda Ilincic Pre-Fall 2012 dress we saw on the red carpet just six days ago courtesy of Princess Beatrice.
Like Beatrice, Marisa opted for some funky footwear, selecting the blue ‘Demi Circle’ peep-toes by Aperlai.
I love the dress and I’m lusting after the shoes, but I don’t like them together.
Marisa’s sleek sophisticated dress is totally overwhelmed by the heels. I saw the shoes before the dress.
Had the shoes been in a solid colour, I think it would’ve worked for me, but they’re too busy and distracting for this look.
A simple updo and nude clutch completed the look.

I love it!
IMO, she wears it better than Beatrice.
Shoes aside, I am loving this dress against her darker skin tone and hair (versus Princess B)
I had the same reaction as with Princess Beatrice. Why not the red shoes? Then, I was happy because at least they were pee toes. I kind of prefer them even though they indeed look a bit chunky.
I agree with you FC. The shoes are fabulous but not with the dress.
“Marisa’s sleek sophisticated dress is totally overwhelmed by the heels. I saw the shoes before the dress.”
Very true. The shoes are too distracting.
The shoes are an overkill, way too funky for this simple elegant dress.
The shoes are gorgeous, but not with this dress. I prefer Beatrice’s look.
Agree! Is it the picture or her face looks like plastic?
Marisa’s dress is better fitted to her shape than Princess Bea’s, but I don’t like either the nude clutch or the shoes. In fact, until I read your comment, I had dismissed the light blue strap as part of the “RCA” mark.
I like how she wanted to pair her shoes to the sleeves of her dress, but these shoes are just… weird.
