Elizabeth Banks and her co-star Chris Pine made a guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ to promote their new movie ‘People Like Us’ in New York City yesterday.
The Patron Saint of Colour on the Red Carpet once again donned a dress with bold, colourful hues.
Her House of Holland Fall 2012 violet sleeveless dress with a keyhole detail had zig-zag strips of pink, purple, red, blue and yellow.
Matching her dress, she donned a pair of Brian Atwood ‘Hamper’ purple pumps, which were also multi-coloured with green platforms and pink heels.
Opting for minimal makeup, Elizabeth completed her look with Jennifer Meyer and a silver ring.
Can you see a beautiful rainbow, or has she over done it on this occasion?

Fresh and colorful indeed…but i must say that i think the red acessories goes so much better with this dress?! But she looks very nice.
I love it. The shoes match the colors of the dress, so I don’t think she overdid anything.
I agree. PERFECTION. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
+2 – She looks flawless yet again.
+1.
A very beautiful rainbow indeed ! Love with the dress
I agree, I love the vibrancy of this look, lots of fun and gorgeous!!
Probably one of the best and most wearable dresses in the collection. Looks great on her! Think this would look AMAZING on you too FC! x
I would LOVE to wear this
I love the dress but I’m not sure about the shoes. I think that I would’ve preferred a matching, pink or red sandal.
Ditto, jo. She went overboard with the multi-coloured shoe, the dress is colourful enough. I’m leaning towards solid pink heels.
Flatters her figure beautifully (tiny waist, hour glass figure), unlike the Saab posted earlier. Like the colors, maybe a bit overboard on the rainbow theme but still well short of Effie, lol. Dislike the hair.
Beautiful rainbow for me. She wisely kept accessories to a minimum and didn’t overly fuss with her hair and make-up. I have to say I would have like a stand-out lip, though.
I love how bold she is by wearing bright colors in the daytime. She has a great eye for color.
I think she looks great.
I love this dress! I am not one that really loves crazy colors, so that says a lot. Gorgeous.
She looks like an easter egg.
Adorable and fun. She is so versatile–drama one minute, carefree and fun the next. That is one of the most impressive things about her. Her approach to fashion feels so genuine.
very nice!
Love! Total breath of fresh air.
While I appreciate Banks versatility and fashion-risk taking, this is a clear miss for me. Maybe it’s the picture but that particular shade of violet reads really garish to me.
Elisabeth Banks is candidate for the most consistent best dressed 2012 imo
I dont remember an outfit of hers that I didnt love
Works for her.
Ooooh, I want everything in this look…
I like the dress, so much fun, dislike the shoe choice. I would’ve preferred Stappy sandals in any color
I like it a lot!
I do wish she had worn just a touch of lip color, though, as the bright dress tends to wash her face out. She wouldn’t need to go with as strong a lippie as the model has, especially since she chose blue rather than red accessories, but a medium pink might have helped.
I’m in love with this dress. It’s so pretty!
She seems at ease here, which I think is rare for her. Perhaps that why this dress seems more true to her style than most of her fashion forward picks. She looks radiant.
I love this look completely, love the shoes – the dress is so fun and perfectly flattering. My only gripe is her hair – it is the only thing that makes her look less fashion-forward most of the time and detracts from her high-fashion efforts.
