The one person I always look forward to seeing during Royal Ascot is Danielle Lineker.
This year I was left very disappointed by her look as she was a tad sombre for an event which is known for attendees wearing bright summer colours.
Dressed in a Roland Mouret ‘Annabelle’ black-and-ivory dress from the Spring 2012 collection, this look feels more like she’s heading to a funeral.
Her dress was styled with black accessories including a floral hat with a veil, a Chanel clutch and pumps.

She looks good, but the entire look would have been better in another colour.
I am also a colour-lover, however, I absolutely love this look, it is so elegant and sophisticated. It fits so beautifully too.

For a funeral, this look is to die for – ha ha. That dress is so incredibly beautiful and I love the hat.
