Thandie Newton In Stella McCartney – ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ World Premiere

Two Thandie Newton red carpet appearances in two days; she’s really spoiling us.

The ‘Queen of Consistency’ looked simply elegant again whilst attending the world premiere of ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ in London tonight.

She wore a Stella McCartney Resort 2012 one-sleeve dress.

Some of you weren’t too crazy about her Charlotte Olympia wedges with her previous look, but on this occasion she opted for simple nude pumps.

A chic bun, Solange Azagury-Partridge jewels and barely-there makeup completed her look.

As much as I have lambasted the Stella McCartney Spring 2012 collection, I’m now wondering how Thandie would fare in this collection.

If anyone could make it work it would be Thandie? No?

FC, any thoughts on this Indian actress who recently wore Stella? I actually think it looks pretty good..

i haven’t liked anyone wearing a look from the Stella McCartney s12 collection

I like the colour and her earrings but I am not loving the rest. Dated and not a great silhouette. I don’t think anyone can rock the Spring 2012 collection but she can give it her best shot, I would love to be wrong

I like the color, but the fit is off, her previous look was a lot more stunning and put together. And who could hate those Charlotte Olympia wedges? THEY WERE PERFECTION!

The color is great but the silhouette is shapeless. This collection should be left ALONE!

The color is nice but as AW mentioned, it looks dated.

This movie has already premiered? I thought it was pushed back to summer? Hmmm.

The outfit is so-so, I don’t really care I’m more interested in the fact that she said she was going to have her hair more natural on the red carpet but doesn’t seem to be doing so yet.
    Oh well, beautiful woman.

NO, stay away, far far away from the S/S2012 collection!!

+1 – let’s leave that awful collection to die a death in some bargain bin stock room.

The color is nice and Thandie is awesome but the dress is meh. I’ve seen it before. I’m almost sure I purchased it 4 years ago.

The dress is a bit baggy and shapeless so not one of her best looks.

Do like the colour and the earrings. The dress is awkward – an oversized droopy top with a redundant sleeve, her hair is a bit too granny. Missing an accessory (a clutch) esp. considering that she opted for the boring shoes. Not loving this. Some interesting flirty sandals would`ve taken this look up a notch.

That I can’t tell… I’m just glad that, in the midst of everyone trying so hard to make that dreadful collection work, she opted to wear something that allow us to remind why Stella McCartney is an A-List designer.
