Following the premiere, Millie Bobby Brown headed to the Enola Holmes 3 after-party in New York City, trading one headline-making look for another.
If the Galia Lahav gown showcased her more romantic side, this Mirror Palais look reminded us that Millie still isn’t afraid to take a risk.
Yes, it’s revealing. The sheer and lace construction leaves very little to the imagination, but it’s the confidence with which she wears it that I find most compelling. After so many red carpet appearances where the styling felt like it was trying to convince us of something, this felt surprisingly straightforward.
Will everyone like it? Probably not. But I appreciate that Millie continues to experiment instead of playing it safe. Following the elegance of the premiere gown, which may have been a compromise, this feels much more like Millie putting her own stamp on things.
