Paula Patton was vibrant in yellow at the 2012 Golden Globes Awards this evening.
The ‘Mission Impossible’ actress had heads turning in a marigold Monique Lhuillier Spring 2012 gown.
Her silk faille strapless draped trumpet gown was paired with center-parted curls, pulled halfway back.
Paula didn’t wear a necklace, but she did dazzle wearing Kwiat diamond earrings.
Dark nails add a fun contrast against the bright colour.
Where was Monique Lhuillier when Paula needed her last month?
A Judith Leiber clutch completed her look.

YES! I love yellow–not so much the mermaid silhouette (I’m so tired of it) but you’re right FC, where was the great and fabulous Monique when Paula needed her? This is her best look every.
Gorgeous! She needs to learn how to pose on the red carpet though.
Noooo, not the Jennifer Hudson two-hands-on-hips pose! But that’s a quibble. J’adore this yellow – as sunny as her smile.
LOVE the color. The dress is something we’ve seen a million times before, and I’m not really thrilled about the hair, but she looks pretty. The dark nails, I agree, nice contrast.
Lol- I thought your last sentence as soon as I saw the photo.
4 yellow dresses on the red carpet . Loving that, Paula looks beautiful.
This is the best she´s ever looked, nicely done, but damn those dark nails WHY??? They bring the look down for me.
I agree with EmmaWoodhouse. In fact, was about to say the exact same thing. Stunning colour, dated shape.
And looking at it again, I really hate the hair.
Very, very pretty.
That color brings a breath of fresh air to a wintertime runway. (It’s cold, dark, and cloudy where I am, so I appreciate the sunshine!)
For some reason I prefer it on the runway…
She is always so awkward, to me, on the red carpet. The dress is beautiful on her though and everything here is perfection. From the hair, to the makeup to the simple styling–gorgeous.
This is absolutely my favorite look of all her red carpet appearances. I was completely blown away. BDOTW please! Thanks for the amazing and fast coverage FC! This is the one place I want to be tonight.
Love the pop of color, but this feels very bridesmaidy to me.
She looks stunning, beautiful dress, love the colour on her skin tone
Nice
Love this colour on her and next to her dark hair and nails!! I do wish she had looked like this doing her promo tour, this would have to be her best look yet.
