Ashlee Simpson In MSGM – 2018 iHeartRADIO MuchMusic Video Awards

Ashlee Simpson In MSGM - 2018 iHeartRADIO MuchMusic Video Awards

It often feels like Ashlee Simpson is trying to give life to another era when she steps onto the red carpet, but things felt very much up-to-date at the 2018 iHeartRADIO MuchMusic Video Awards on Saturday (August 26) in Toronto, Canada.

A grey pinstripe suit might not feel immediately on point for the MuchMusic Video Awards, but this MSGM look featured crystal embroidery which really made the look pop, while the black lace bra give the look a touch of sex appeal.

Stuart Weitzman’s silver sandals completed the look, along with poke straight extended tresses.

Premiere Of HBO’s ‘Sharp Objects’

The stars of ‘Sharp Objects’ attended the premiere of the TV series on Tuesday (June 26) in Los Angeles, California.

Sydney Sweeney: Brock Collection’s Fall 2018 sublime florals and flattering silhouettes was on display once again. I know some of you aren’t big fans, but I love the summery, feminine elegance of this look, with bohemian flare imbued by the halo braid.

Angela Sarafyan: I’m usually a big fan of Angela’s style, but her black accessories felt too heavy against the vibrant yellow Rasario Pre-Fall 2018 dress.

Amy Adams: While summer and bold colour were Sydney and Angela’s red carpet M.O. Amy was keeping things classic in all black Calvin Klein by Appointment. The look was chic and classic, but just a tad too heavy for my liking for the current season. Calvin Klein Camelle crystal-embellished suede sandals and dazzling jewels completed her look.

V&A Summer Party Red Carpet Roundup

There were many more celebs joining Sylvia Hoeks and Ciara in London for the V&A Summer Party on Wednesday (June 20).

Lady Kitty Spencer: Taking inspiration from Sicilian Majolica ceramic art, this dress from Dolce & Gabbana is printed with a colourful and artistic array of painted florals motifs. Spotlighting a feminine fit and flare silhouette, the look was interestingly complemented by colourful Mary Jane pumps.

Princess Beatrice: I love the white MSGM ruffle dress and her Kurt Geiger ‘Stratton’ pumps, but her Pop & Suki box bag didn’t need to make a reappearance with this look. It just didn’t work for me.

Gwendoline Christie: This wasn’t my favourite from this event, but I did like the girlie flourish which came from the hairband.

Step Up’s 14th Annual Inspiration Awards

Celebs were out in force to support Step Up’s 14th annual Inspiration Awards at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Friday (June 1) in Beverly Hills, California.

Sanaa Lathan: I love how the ruffle trims enhance the summertime style of this fresh floral mini Caroline Constas dress. It’s just a shame that the belt feels out of place here.

Kaley Cuoco: Channeling a playful vibe in her MSGM Lip Print dress, I love how she opted for pink sneakers instead of the expected pump or sandal.

January Jones: Some of you have found it hard to come around to the apparel looks from Coach, and I don’t think January’s look help change that. I feel like the only thing missing from this look is a fanny pack.

Sia In MSGM – The Voice Finale

All eyes and ears were on Sia as she performed on ‘The Voice’ season 13 finale on Tuesday (December 19).

The singer sang twice on the show, first joining contestant Brooke Simpson for a beautiful version of ‘Titanium.’

For the rendition, Sia wore a long-sleeved dress that was custom designed for her by Massimo Giorgetti for MSGM.

The pastel ruffles enlivened the black base, giving the dress a whimsical rainbow effect.

The Prada scalloped sandals played up the frills on the dress while the oversized hair bow and split color wig were in keeping with the performer’s signature look.

Refinery29 29Rooms Los Angeles: Turn It Into Art Opening Night

The Refinery29 ’29Rooms Los Angeles: Turn It Into Art’ opening night party saw a host of lovely ladies in attendance on Wednesday (December 6) in California.

Gabrielle Union: The ‘Being Mary Jane’ actress wore a TOME Fall 2017 bomber jacket and corseted shirt, plus some check trousers. I’m usually a big fan of Gabrielle’s style, but I couldn’t get on board with this look. I think the shirt is really the chink in her armor here.

Margot Robbie: With those power shoulders, it’s quite clear that Margot was paying homage to the 80s in this sleek Saint Laurent Spring 2018 look which she styled with Pierre Hardy ‘Laser’ pumps.

Janelle Monae: Did Janelle’s invite say come as art? That can be the only explanation for this Kaimin leather dress and Nange Magro // Dead Lotus Couture latex headpiece. You gotta admire her for committing to the look if nothing else.
