Yalitza Aparicio Co-Hosts The 2020 Latin GRAMMY Awards In Four Dazzling Looks

Yalitza Aparicio in HELOROCHA 2020 Latin GRAMMY Awards

Yalitza Aparicio co-hosted the 2020 Latin GRAMMY Awards held at American Airlines Arena on Thursday (November 19) in Miami, Florida, which was also attended by Karol G.

And as we have come to expect from any host, the ‘Roma’ actress had more than one look, and they were all designed by Latin, or Latin american designers.

This jumpsuit-dress combo from HELOROCHA caught my eye mostly for the colour, but also the simplicity of the design.

Marrying two into one could’ve looked very laboured, but the designer imbues both finessed and elegant tailoring into this piece.

Aquazzura sandals and Pomellato emerald jewels completed her look.

Vitor Zerbinato is a Brazilian designer who has been a huge hit with Angela Bassett and Eva Longoria, and it is easy to see why.

This elegant dress was oozing with plenty of Latin spirit thanks to the ruffled detail on the shoulder, and the sophistication in the designers tailoring visible throughout.

The devil is in all those micro details, with the hair and makeup both on par with the beauty of the dress.

Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a new set of Pomellato jewels completed this look.

Yalitza Aparicio in Carolina Herrera 2020 Latin GRAMMY Awards

I really love the silhouette of this Carolina Herrera Spring 2021 gown. Especially the puff sleeves which didn’t overwhelm the petite actress.

The custom House of Lilac floral headpiece would’ve worked for me had the makeup been more complementary.

I’m getting a mix of cheerleader and ice-skater from this Jonathan Cohen Fall 2020 look, but I do love sweet natured appeal of this look, which perfectly suits her personality.

Did it need the additional embellishments?

Casadei ‘Sveva’ silver metallic pumps completed this look.

I think the black Vitor Zerbinato dress is my favourite, followed by the fuchsia HELOROCHA hybrid look.

Yalitza’s looks were styled by Sophie Lopez, who also curated her red carpet looks for her 2019 awards season run.
