Front Row @ Rodarte Fall 2019

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Front Row @ Rodarte Fall 2019

The Rodarte Fall 2019 show at the Huntington Library in Pasadena, California on Tuesday (February 5) was a delight of ruffles, lace and sheer details.

Rowan Blanchard: ‘The Girl Meets World’ actress showed off her developed sense of style in a Spring 2019 dress with APM Monaco jewels and Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Mira Pearl’ sandals. It oozed princess romance, but not in the typical manner.

Brie Larson: The ‘Captain Marvel’ actress was all wrapped up in a frothy Spring 2019 dress. The silk tie echoes the daintier bows on the neckline for a charming finish.

Tracee Ellis Ross: Never one to miss the chance to fully commit to a look, the actress was working her Spring 2019 outfit with all its lacy ruffles. The coordinating shoes were less jarring than the runway version.

Front Row @ Chanel Pre-Fall 2019

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the Front Row @ Chanel Pre-Fall 2019

The Chanel Pre-Fall 2019 fashion show took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Wednesday (December 5). The front row was a sight to behold with a range of breathtaking looks.

Margot Robbie: After wearing the designer to the ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ New York premiere, the Australian beauty donned a voluminous Chanel Spring 2019 dress. With its trapeze silhouette and frills it had a light-as-air feel, but the black helped ground the look and give it a more formal finish.

Penelope Cruz: The Spanish actress might not have had the easiest time sitting in this Chanel Pre-Fall 2017 gown but the feather-adorned style made a statement. She removed the delicate pink belt, but I’m curious to see how it would have looked with a darker style.

2018 CMA Awards

 2018 CMA Awards

Show-stopping glamour was out in full force at the 2018 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 14) in Nashville, Tennessee. Celebrities joined Kelsea BalleriniOlivia Culpo and Kacey Musgraves.

Kellie Pickler: There will no doubt be Princess Belle comparisons thanks to this gold Anne Barge gown. The glamorous mood and flow of the fishtail hem are striking but it seems a tad tight.

Mackenzie Foy: ‘The Nutcracker And The Four Realms’ star struck the right balance of fun and formal in Miu Miu with Irene Neuwirth jewelry and Roger Vivier shoes.

Mackenzie Foy In Rodarte – ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms ‘ London Premiere

Mackenzie Foy In Rodarte - ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms ‘ London Premiere

Also at the ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms’ London premiere on Thursday (November 1) was Mackenzie Foy, who stars as lead character Clara.

I love how this vision of whimsical delicacy exemplifies Rodarte’s precision and opulence when it comes to red carpet gowns.

The 17-year-old looked sweet in her candyfloss pink Rodarte Spring 2019 polka dots gown whose saccharine nature and fairytale-inspiration were not only perfect for the film, but also for her style.

‘The Nutcracker and The Four Realms’ LA Premiere

'The Nutcracker and The Four Realms' LA Premiere

Much like the ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ DC premiere, there was a lot of co-ordination going on at ‘The Nutcracker And The Four Realms’ world premiere on Monday (October 30) in Hollywood.

Leona Lewis: I know a lot of you don’t the ‘Leona Lewis the risk-taker’, but I kinda feel that that British singer does this kinda look often. On this occasion the dainty feel of this Michael Cinco blush pink embroidered gown was perfect for the Disney feature. Atelier Swarovski By Penelope Cruz jewels and a white clutch completed her look.

Mackenzie Foy: The lead actress was exuding fairytale femininity in this Chanel Spring 2018 Haute Couture pale pink silk and tulle embroidered dress, that was even more enchanting without the bolero. With soft, vintage-inspired embellishments I fell totally in love with this look which she styled with Sophia Webster ‘Rosalind Crystal’ sandals and Chanel Fine jewelry.

Misty Copeland: Rounding out a trio of blush embroidered gowns, the ballet dancer wore an Ermanno Scervino dress that presented fresh elegance through delicate floral embroidery.

ELLE’s 25th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

ELLE’s 25th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

ELLE’s 25th Annual Women In Hollywood celebration which took place on Monday (October 15) in Los Angeles, California, saw a lot more lovely ladies in attendance.

Sara Sampaio: The Portuguese beauty wore a stereotypical sexy Julien Macdonald Spring 2019 dress, which usually isn’t a surprise on most models, but it was for Sara.

Vanessa Hudgens: The actress appeared to be edging back to her boho roots in this Alberta Ferretti Spring 2018 pinafore dress. However, I wonder if the rust-hue denim jacket was necessary to sell this look?

Yara Shahidi: As one of the honorees for the night, the ‘Black-ish’ star donned a look from the co-host Calvin Klein. The dress appears to be a simple yellow sheath, until you clock the satin train at the back. To give the look another edge, she wore dual-colour sandals to round out her look.

Variety’s Annual Power Of Young Hollywood

Variety's Annual Power Of Young Hollywood

Hollywood’s best and brightest attended Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood event in West Hollywood on Tuesday (August 28), where the event honoured Amandla Stenberg, and Lili Reinhart was also awarded the second-ever Variety + H&M Conscious Award for her body positivity and mental health activism.

Amandla Stenberg: From boyish, to vixen in the space of 24 hours, Amandla showcases more than a slither of skin in this red hot Chromat Spring 2017 dress styled with matching Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. I don’t know about you, but I’m really enjoying her variety of looks.

Sofia Carson: The actress was serving up plenty of girlish flair wearing a Monique Lhuillier off-the shoulder LBD festooned with feathers for dramatic effect.

Joey King: The 19-year-old actress opted to go down a semi-sexy route with her Emporio Armani Pre-Fall 2018 suit by opting to go sans blouse, and I think she pulled the look off tastefully. A Tyler Ellis bag gave her look a more business-like touch with Jennifer Meyer jewels rounding out the look.

Front Row @ Chanel Fall 2018 Haute Couture

Chanel presented their Fall 2018 Haute Couture show in Paris on Tuesday (July 3), with a host of stars, including their most loyal ambassadors in the front row.

Penelope Cruz: The Spanish actress was portraying a Parisian princess in her Chanel tweed dress and beret comb. I adored this look from head-to-toe as it was such and fun departure for Penelope.

Liu Wen: The model was appropriately dressed for the heatwave in this easy, breezy chiffon cool-blue Chanel dress. She continues to be my best dressed model.

Ellie Bamber: As one of Chanel’s official ambassadors, I wasn’t surprised to see the British actress in the front row. Oozing the same charm we got from Penelope’s look – thanks to the beret – my favourite part of this look was her Lifebuoy Chanel bag.

Chanel Celebrates the Chanel Beauty House and @WeLoveCoco

On Wednesday (February 28), Chanel hosted a cocktail party to debut the Chanel Beauty House in celebration of @WeLoveCoco, a new instagram community dedicated to user-generated beauty content.

Hollywood influencers showcased an array of styles from classic to more contemporary.

Ava Phillippe: This fresh take on Chanel signature boucle was injected with plenty of youthful flare thanks to her colourful accessories.

Kristen Stewart: While I love that the Chanel ambassador made this Pre-Fall 2018 look her own, a part of me wishes she kept the runway knitted boots.

Mackenzie Foy: Colour-blocking has never felt so fun and vibrant. Like Ava, Mackenzie’s accessories enhance the look.

ERDEM x H&M Fashion Show

PYTs flocked to the ERDEM x H&M Fashion Show held on Wednesday (October 18) in LA—and were naturally attired in the highly anticipated, flower-forward collaboration.

Zendaya: The one thing I would have changed about Zendaya’s vintage-mod, ladylike statement would be her footwear, as the light pumps seemed at a disconnect from the darker floral palette of the skirt. Otherwise, she was completely selling the retro vibe of the look–from bouffant hair to ankles.

Kirsten Dunst: Riffing on the silk pyjama trend, Kirsten’s pair of loungewear-influenced separates were bolstered by her heels and embellished handbag.

Kate Bosworth: I like how this printed frock celebrated the height of romantic femininity whilst also echoing Kate’s bohemian-loving side.

‘Thor: Ragnarok’ LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

It was all about enchanting black at the ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ LA premiere on Tuesday (October 10) with many ladies opting for dresses in the dark shade.

Praya Lundberg: The model-actress shimmered in a Maria Lucia Hohan dress and Borgioni diamond drop earrings. The long sleeves of the dress were balanced by a thigh-high slit and a strapless neckline.

Mackenzie Foy:
The young actress opted for ballet pink Miu Miu separates. The sleeveless blouse and cropped pants were speckled with sparkles. An embellished collar, Prada clutch and silver sandals provided further shimmer.

Elsa Pataky: Supporting husband Chris Hemsworth, the Spanish model-actress looked regal in a Victoria Beckham Resort 2017 gown. The simple black column style was enhanced with a twist on the bodice and a gold choker necklace.
