Dua Lipa Wore Helsa Arriving At Electric Lady Studios
While husband Callum Turner has been busy promoting his new film, One Night Only, with co-star Monica Barbaro, Dua Lipa has returned to work, making another visit to Electric Lady Studios in New York City. While nothing has been confirmed, fans are naturally hoping these studio sessions signal that new music is on the horizon.
One thing I don’t usually associate with Dua’s style is an all-black look. Aside from that brief minimalist phase, she generally leans into colour, texture or vintage references, so this felt like a refreshing change of pace.
Her Helsa trousers, complete with an attached skirt overlay, elevated what could have been a straightforward tank-and-trousers combination. A pair of slim-cut trousers alone would have made for a sleek look, but the overlay introduced a touch more modernity.
What really sold it for me, however, was the styling, particularly the animal-print Jimmy Choo Bow pumps. They brought just the right amount of personality to an otherwise understated palette.
The rest of the look included a Dehanche Hollyhock belt, an oversized Chanel Flap bag, a Bvlgari Octo Finissimo watch and ring, Gucci square-frame sunglasses, and her custom Eéra engagement ring.
