Rosalía Makes a Case for Rain-Ready Fashion

While we have been experiencing unusually mild temperatures this October, it did rain during Paris Fashion Week.

Mid-last week saw Rosalía springing forward in a fresh-off-the-runway Dior Spring 2027 look. Now she’s falling back in Vaquera.

Instead of having a bodyguard follow her around with an umbrella, à la Jennifer Lopez at the Stella McCartney show, Rosalía came prepared for the Paris rain in a hooded cape from the Vaquera Fall 2026 collection, featuring double-breasted buttons and a bow fastening.

The cape originally appeared with little more than briefs and thigh-high boots, which I’m sure Bianca Censori would have happily taken as inspiration, but Rosalía had other ideas.

Like Selena Gomez, the singer is taking capri trousers into the autumn season, keeping the all-black look streamlined and letting the cape do the heavy lifting. She completed the look with Jimmy Choo Scarlett pumps.

From Dior petals to Vaquera’s rain-ready cape in the space of a few days, Rosalía is ensuring her Paris Fashion Week wardrobe is weather-appropriate.
