Daisy Edgar-Jones Finds the Sheer Exception
Following the photocall, Daisy Edgar-Jones graced the red carpet at the Hoyts Entertainment Quarter for the Sydney premiere of Sense & Sensibility on Thursday.

I know some will take one look at this and say, “It’s too sheer,” but I think this custom Miu Miu light organza gown, featuring a tulle corseted bodice, embroidery and jewelled rope detailing, is stunning.
There is a romantic quality to the gown that feels perfectly suited to Sense & Sensibility, but Miu Miu has filtered that through its own modern approach to sheer dressing. The result feels connected to the world of the film without trying to replicate its Regency-era costumes.
Let’s call it Regency romance through a modern Miu Miu lens.
This is exactly why I don’t have a blanket dislike of sheer gowns. Every so often, one comes along that completely wins me over, and this is one of them. The embroidery is beautifully placed, the corsetry gives the transparency structure, and most importantly, I don’t find myself wishing it were lined.

After her curls at the photocall, Daisy switched to sleek, straight hair for the premiere, which suited the glamour of the gown beautifully.
