Charlize Theron Continues Her Summer of Short Hemlines in Dior

Charlize Theron hosted the annual Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project Block Party in Los Angeles this weekend.

The actress wore a Dior look that brought a playful twist to her long-standing relationship with the house.

There was never a chance that Charlize was going to wear this black mini dress layered over trousers, especially considering her penchant for short silhouettes this summer while promoting The Odyssey.

I like how the oversized satin drape and gold-finish metal D buckle keep the simplicity of the dress from feeling too basic.

I’m usually a big fan of Charlize’s footwear, and while the J’Adior sandals add to the playfulness of the dress, did we really need another Dior logo considering there was already one at the neckline? For me, a logo-free sandal would have been the better choice.
