Naomi Campbell Embraces Her Softer Side in ArdAzAei Couture

Naomi Campbell attended the Audemars Piguet and Vogue cocktail celebrating the launch of the Royal Oak ‘Serena Williams’ Limited Edition.

The model wore an ArdAzAei Couture gown from a label that is slowly gaining a presence on the red carpet.

So far, we’ve only seen ArdAzAei at film festivals on Leslie Bibb at Venice, and Suzi de Givenchy at Cannes, but dressing Naomi Campbell, one of fashion’s most recognisable models, gives the emerging label a different level of visibility.

The white gown is built around ArdAzAei’s signature corsetry, with rose-patterned tulle creating the fitted silhouette before opening into a gathered georgette skirt.

When I think of Naomi, those sculpted Alaïa silhouettes immediately come to mind, so it’s refreshing to see her embrace something softer and more romantic. This feels like a very different proposition for her, and I’m here for it.

What I’m not loving is the blonde hair. I don’t think the colour suits her at all, and I find myself wishing she would return to her signature darker hair.
