Kaia Gerber Takes a Walk on the Wild Side in Proenza Schouler

Kaia Gerber attended the SPECS launch keynote in Beverly Hills, California, following her appearance at the Warner Bros. Emmys after-party.

The model-actress is one of the reigning queens of ’90s minimalism, alongside Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, so I was surprised to see a tiger-print motif take centre stage on her Proenza Schouler Spring 2027 tube top.

The collection had debuted only six days earlier, so while this wasn’t an eight-hours-off-the-runway moment, it was still an impressively quick turnaround.

From the waist down, however, this was classic Kaia, right down to the colour palette. The low-waisted black slip skirt opened to reveal an ivory underlayer, maintaining the pared-back ’90s mood she favours.

The accessories were equally familiar territory, kept to a minimum and, of course, including her favourite open-toed mules.
