Daisy Edgar-Jones Goes Sheer for Sense & Sensibility

If you thought this press tour was going to be an ode to Jane Austen, Daisy’s latest look proves otherwise. I don’t remember sheer black lace and hot-pink underwear featuring prominently in Sense & Sensibility.

And we shouldn’t be surprised to see Daisy in this SHUSHU/TONG Spring 2026 black lace dress over hot-pink undergarments, because she trialled a similar sheer style while sitting front row at Saint Laurent this summer.

I know many won’t like this, but it’s the fun pop of pink that sells it to me. So many sheer looks can veer into tacky territory, but I’m not getting that here. The contrast between the black lace and hot pink makes the transparency feel playful rather than predictable.

I’m actually surprised Tyla hasn’t worn this dress already, as it fits neatly into her Y2K aesthetic.
