Isabelle Huppert Wore Loewe To The Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony
Isabelle Huppert was, of course, in attendance for the closing ceremony of the 2026 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday.

Having worn far less Balenciaga than I expected from her during this festival, the French actress closed things out wearing a Spanish label instead, stepping onto the red carpet in Loewe.
At first glance, some might say this black gown, with its stark white bib collar and cuffs, veers into nun’s-habit territory, it doesn’t landing there for me. The soft neck bow eases the austerity of the contrast, the subtle sculpting through the hips gives the silhouette shape, and the sequins bring enough glamour to keep the look firmly in Cannes territory rather than costume.

This is still unmistakably Isabelle – slightly eccentric, a touch intellectual, and never interested in obvious glamour – but with enough sparkle to suit a closing ceremony.
Chopard jewels completed her look.
Stylist: Jonathan Huguet.
