Simone Ashley Delivers Four Looks On ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Press Tour
Simone Ashley has been busy promoting The Devil Wears Prada 2, now in theatres, serving up four looks – two fresh, and two that continue her run of archival pulls.

Press Junket
She reached for a Balenciaga Spring 2003 mini scuba dress by Nicolas Ghesquière. This piece remains one of those instantly identifiable runway moments, thanks to the saturated underwater-meets-jungle print that wraps the body in a collage of aquatic and exotic references. Keeping the focus on the graphic impact of the print, she styled the look with the OG Balenciaga Le City bag – still in circulation today – which only reinforces the throwback appeal.

Good Morning America
The British actress pivoted to a Gauchère Fall 2026 look, and I like how the leather trousers bring a tougher edge to the colour-block cami top, striking the right balance for this press tour. I think this is what Anne Hathaway was trying to do during the Asia leg, but it didn’t quite land. An Antonio Marras Caragol bag and the same Gianvito Rossi pumps from her first outing tied the look together.

Live with Kelly & Mark
I love how her lilac Jimmy Choo 72138 feather-accented sandals inject a playful lift into this third look from Nomia’s Spring 2026 collection. The Liberty-print patchwork detail is fun, but I keep coming back to those shoes; they completely make the outfit.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 Miami Photocall
The tone shifted again. This Chloé Spring 2001 one-shoulder dress, with its iconic horse print, moves away from the more styled, editorial direction of the earlier looks into something lighter and more in tune with the setting. The white Jimmy Choo Leo sandals complement that shift perfectly, keeping the finish summery and appropriate for Miami.
There are elements across all four looks that work, but if you told me to pick only one, it would be the Balenciaga. Nicolas Ghesquière’s era at the house continues to resonate strongly with me, in no small part thanks to Jennifer Connelly.
Stylist: Rebecca Corbin-Murray.
