Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway Attend ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Mexico City Q&A
The images from The Devil Wears Prada 2 press event with Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep, held at Casa Azul in Mexico City, have finally arrived, and yes, there is going to be a collective sense of relief when it comes to Anne’s style direction.

Back on Track
We all know that her previous Stella McCartney look didn’t land. But thankfully Anne has course-corrected swiftly with this Schiaparelli Fall 2025 ensemble, and it’s exactly the reset this press tour needed.
At its foundation, the look is deceptively simple: a fringed shirt and pencil skirt. But the magic lies in the details. The gold brass belt, anchored by the house’s signature surrealist eye motif with lashes, delivers that unmistakable Schiaparelli identity.
Where the previous look felt overworked, this one feels much more disciplined. The styling allows the statement belt to remain the focal point, rather than competing with it. Swapping the runway’s western-style python ankle boots for the brand’s signature keyhole pumps was also a smart move, as it keeps the look aligned with Anne’s refined elegance.
This is the Anne Hathaway fashion narrative that works: polished, directional, and confidently edited.

Effortless Icon Energy
And yet, somehow, Meryl Streep still manages to steal the moment.
There’s an ease to her presence that simply can’t be manufactured. Her custom Dolce & Gabbana red suit, paired with a matching pussy-bow blouse, feels so self-assured and completely in sync with her status as an icon.

The tonal styling extends seamlessly to her Emmanuelle Khanh Cloud cat-eye sunglasses, adding just the right amount of attitude, with Fope earrings completing the look.
It’s simply Meryl Streep doing what she does best: owning the moment with quiet authority.
