Chase Infiniti attended the opening ceremony of the Series Mania Festival in Lille, France on Friday, where she continued promoting her new film, The Testaments, fresh off her press run of One Battle After Another and a gruelling awards season. She also kept the braided ‘do from Oscar night, which could become part of her signature style.
The actress stepped out in another Louis Vuitton look, this time a striking blue satin gown featuring a sculptural 3D pleated bustier and a pannier-style skirt.
There is a subtle connection to her new project here. The exaggerated silhouette, with its structured volume through the hips, nods to historical dress codes often associated with rigid societies and hierarchy, which aligns with the world The Testaments explores. But this doesn’t feel like a costume reference. The high-shine, almost metallic finish pulls the look firmly into the present, giving the gown a sharper, more forward-facing edge.
What I appreciate most is how Chase is leaning into these directional silhouettes without being overshadowed by them. After a packed awards season, it would have been easy to retreat into something safer, but instead she continues to push forward.
