I know some of you will say Maude Apatow’s custom Valentino gown is not exactly pushing boundaries, but I really enjoyed this. It taps into that classic Valentino red elegance that has been missing from the red carpet lately. The clean lines, the rich tone, the restrained drama, it all feels timeless. If I didn’t know better, I would have assumed this was pulled straight from the archives, and honestly, that is part of the appeal.

A Hard No From Me

There are some things I wish I could unsee, and Myha’la’s Valentino Spring 2026 sheer lace dress is firmly on that list. The sheer construction was always going to be a risk, but that dark V-panel is diabolical. I get it, it’s a party, and she is known for her bold choices, but this is where I draw the line.

Back In The Red

Felicity Jones restored the balance in this Valentino Pre-Fall 2026 red tiered gown. After the mixed response to her Prada yellow gown, I’m sure this will be viewed more favourably. The soft tiers, the colour, the overall ease of it all. De Beers jewels completed her look. Now I am curious, was this the better choice for you?
