Connor Storrie Wore Saint Laurent To The SNL After-Party
Connor Storrie was spotted heading to the Mermaid Oyster Bar for the SNL after-party to celebrate his Saturday Night Live debut.
One look at the over-the-knee boots and you immediately know that he is wearing Saint Laurent. That, and the fact that the actor has been leaning heavily into the house since attending the Fall 2026 menswear show earlier this year.
Is it going to be a case of third time’s the charm? After all, we were not completely convinced by Pedro Pascal or Alexander Skarsgård when they stepped out in these Saint Laurent Joe boots from the Fall 2025 collection.
So the question becomes: can the man of the moment finally make them work?
Sadly, it is a no from me. I have genuinely tried to support anyone willing to take on these boots, but this might be my least favourite outing yet. The issue comes down to the clash between the light grey Saint Laurent suit and the glossy black leather. The boots are so tall and visually heavy that they drag the eye straight downward, leaving the suit looking secondary and the lower half bulky.
Pascal and Skarsgård both opted for darker palettes, which helped soften the visual impact and made the boots slightly easier to digest.
Right now this reads less like confident styling and more like two separate ideas colliding. At this point we may have to accept that the concept worked best on the runway, and perhaps only truly made sense on Brad Pitt’s GQ cover.
