Penelope Cruz Wore Jacquemus To ‘The Bride!’ London Photocall

Penelope Cruz returned to the press tour circuit for the first time in two years at the London photocall for The Bride! held at The Corinthia Hotel today, and the first thing you’ll notice is that she’s not wearing Chanel.

I’m sure Matthieu Blazy will create something custom for the premiere, but you have to go back to the 2023 Goya Awards and the 2023 David di Donatello Awards to find the last time she stepped out in a label other than Chanel. That makes this Jacquemus Fall 2026 moment worth savouring, especially as many of you may have forgotten what her style actually looks like outside of those bouclé skirt suits she favoured for photocalls.

I’m absolutely living for the flair radiating from the sculptural, looped detailing on the skirt. It injects personality and a bit of Latin flair back into her style. I’m also glad this custom version skips the white accents seen on the runway. Keeping it tonal was the right call. The tonal finish keeps it sleek and far more cohesive.

Styled with gold statement earrings, I have my fingers crossed that we are about to witness a new style era for Penelope.

One can only hope.
