2026 Oscar Nominees Luncheon Menswear

Here is a look at the men who attended the 2026 Oscar Nominees Luncheon which took place in LA on Tuesday.

Bookish, But Make It Dior

Reece Feldman has always leaned into Saint Laurent and Thom Browne, but seeing him in Jonathan Anderson’s Dior makes perfect sense. The exaggerated bow tie, graphic waistcoat and wide-leg trousers tap into his theatrical, film-obsessed persona. On someone else it might feel costume-adjacent; on Reece, the eccentricity feels very self-aware. Even the Dior Dracula tote adds to the narrative.

Schoolboy Energy

Am I alone in feeling that Jacob Elordi’s custom Valentino read like a school uniform? The narrow tie, crisp shirt and structured blazer lean heavily into that collegiate space. That said, he does look good. The proportions are clean, the trousers are typically longer than I would like, but overall finish is immaculate. This is undeniably well executed.

Classic, Minus The Tie

There is a lot of familiarity with Leonardo DiCaprio in this Dior suit, but going tieless is a rarity for him. The double-breasted suit and crisp white shirt keep things firmly in his comfort zone, yet the absence of a tie subtly relaxes the look. It is a small shift, but on someone so consistent, it reads as intentional.

Not Sure

Does Michael B. Jordan look good in this custom Balenciaga double-breasted suit? Yes. Do I love it? Not entirely. I’m not sure this boxier silhouette works in his favour. My first thought was that it looks like he raided Henry Cavill or Dwayne Johnson’s wardrobe. It fits, but it does I don’t love it as much as I want to.

Same Suit, New Shade

It looks like Sarah Burton is going to keep turning out variations of this Givenchy suit for Timothée Chalamet in different colours. This inky blue is easily the strongest iteration so far, especially compared to the earlier brown and beige versions. Still, the repetition is becoming noticeable. It is starting to echo Kingsley Ben-Adir’s Bob Marley: One Love press tour, where the same Gucci suit appeared in multiple shades.

Berry Tones And Big Confidence

Overcoats on the red carpet currently have me in a chokehold, and when rendered in this rich berry hue, I am even more invested. Wagner Moura’s tonal Zegna Spring 2026 look feels so modern. His confidence has noticeably grown with each appearance this season and it a trajectory worth watching.
