The first thing that may have caught your attention is that she is not wearing Gucci, after being so closely associated with the Italian label and even fronting a brand campaign.

On this occasion, she wore a Valentino Spring 2026 look by Alessandro Michele from the Fireflies collection.

I had this on my wish list for Hunter Schafer, styled with a neat bun, but I’m enjoying how Daisy’s auburn hair and natural warmth make the look feel less austere.

If you’re anything like me, you’ll be picking up a definite retro secretarial undertone. The sheer blouse with lace inserts, high buttoned skirt and oversized floral neck detail all nod to a ’70s office silhouette, the kind of look you’d imagine behind a typewriter in a film set in another era. The high waist and knee length pencil shape reinforce that reference, but it doesn’t dull my appreciation. If anything, that is what makes me like it more.

The only element I’m not entirely convinced by is the Valentino Garavani sandals, both in terms of style and how they sit with this skirt length.
