Renate Reinsve Wore Calvin Klein Collection To The 2026 European Film Awards

Renate Reinsve attended the 2026 European Film Awards at Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin on Saturday, where she accepted the European Actress Award for Sentimental Value.

At first glance, this Calvin Klein Collection Spring 2026 look feels almost wilfully unceremonious. A white silk, apron-style column dress with a matching headscarf is not what most would reach for at an awards ceremony.

The dress alone reads pared back to the point of anonymity, more summer stroll in the East Village than European Film Awards. The headscarf is what shifts the narrative for me as I tried to understand this choice. It introduces regional identity, and a quiet sense that feels distinctly Scandinavian.

This may not scream celebration, but it does feel purposeful. For a Norwegian actress who can be experimental, the choice feels more honest than dressing to impress. That said, I will caveat this by saying I don’t see her wearing this to an awards ceremony in the US.
