Amal and George Clooney Channel Old Hollywood at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards

Amal and George Clooney graced the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, where he was nominated for Jay Kelly, and together they instantly transported me back to old Hollywood glamour.

That feeling was driven by the styling choices on both sides. Amal wore a custom-made vintage Pierre Balmain Haute Couture Autumn–Winter 1957 design, Erato. Inspired by Greek mythology, Pierre Balmain named the design after Erato, one of the nine Muses who presided over lyric poetry. Instantly the look is not only rich in history, but also in presence, while George delivered classic elegance in an Armani tux.

I am usually fully focused on Amal, but here the real impact comes from them as a duo. The balance is effortless. Her chocolate toned waves fell softly over her shoulders, paired with a Jimmy Choo mini Diamond clutch. George completed his look with an OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra timepiece.

Individually strong, but together they are the moment. This is how couple dressing should land on a night like this.
