Parker Posey Wore Rodarte To The 2026 Golden Globe Awards

You can always rely on Parker Posey to give you a moment, and that is exactly what she did on the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards.

The White Lotus star stepped out in a custom Rodarte gold silk taffeta gown with more ruffles than you can shake a stick at.

I love how she sold this look with the Sabyasachi choker and opera gloves, amplifying the storybook Victorian ball gown feel, reimagined through a modern lens. The result is dramatic, luxurious, and timeless, rather than reading as costume.

You could also say she was channelling Golden Age Hollywood, when actresses wore exaggerated gowns to project star power.

A Parker Posey red carpet moment is never complete unless it is theatrical and unapologetically glamorous, and this ticks all those boxes.

Some of you might be thinking this vaguely recalls Zoë Kravitz’s Academy Museum Gala gown, but for me the similarity stops at the colour. This was executed better, and crucially, Parker is not overwhelmed by the fabric.
