Jennifer Lawrence Wore Phoebe Philo To The ‘Die My Love’ San Sebastián Film Festival Photocall

Jennifer Lawrence returned to the spotlight for the San Sebastián Film Festival Die My Love photocall today.

Instead of wearing Dior, this time the actress embraced a look from Phoebe Philo that felt equal parts effortless and unexpected.

The black top with rolled sleeves gave off a relaxed, unfussy vibe, perfectly in line with the low-key nature of a daytime photocall, with a trailing train at the back that immediately elevated the outfit.

A train at a photocall? Normally it would feel too dressy for daytime, but with the relaxed nature of the piece, it worked. The fluidity of the fabric and the choice to style it with easy, wide-leg trousers kept it from tipping into overdressed territory.

What I liked most about this look was its balance. Jennifer could have played it safe with a simple blouse-and-trouser combo, but instead she opted for something that made a statement.

It was modern, quietly polished, and carried that signature Phoebe Philo ease that her cult following loves.

Jennifer has always been at her best on the red carpet when she looks comfortable, and this outfit struck exactly that chord. It’s so refreshing to see her doing something new.
