Alicia Vikander’s Louis Vuitton Beauty Moment in Venice

When Alicia Vikander steps onto a red carpet, you know it’s going to be chic, but at the Venice Film Festival premiere of The Wizard of Kremlin, she gave us something even better: a first taste of Louis Vuitton’s newly launched beauty line. With Dame Pat McGrath steering the ship as Cosmetics Creative Director, it’s no surprise the result was sophisticated, and luminous. Celebrity makeup artist Kelly Cornwell crafted the look, leaning into skin-first radiance with modern Parisian polish.

FACE

Kelly began with Augustinus Bader skin prep and cooling eye patches — because no amount of couture gown magic hides tired eyes without them. Next came the Iconic London Glow Primer, laid down as the perfect luminous canvas before Shiseido foundation offering that flawless-but-breathable coverage Alicia always favours, set with Shiseido powder set everything seamlessly, while a touch of Chantecaille gel bronzer added dimension and gave her that red carpet-ready radiance that reads “lit from within” in every flash.

EYES

The eyes were a true playground for Vuitton’s new beauty line. Iconic London eye kajal and YSL mascara created a sultry frame, but the star was the Louis Vuitton Eye Palette in Monogram Rouge — a rich, versatile mix that Kelly paired with Force of Nature from the Recharge collection.

LIPS

Finishing with Vuitton’s Lipstick in Dune Explorer, Alicia’s pout was equal parts polished and understated — the perfect partner to a dramatic eye.
