Felix Kammerer Wore Loewe To The ‘Frankenstein’ Venice Film Festival Photocall and Premiere
Much like his Frankenstein co-star Jacob Elordi, Felix Kammerer committed himself to one fashion house for Venice Film Festival—and not just any house, but Loewe. The twist? We got to see both the past and present of the brand, and I loved every second of it.

Hotel Excelsior Arrival: preppy perfection
There was an ease about his arrival Loewe look that immediately drew me in. The navy knit with stripes, the gingham shirt with that cheeky popped collar—it had a quietly confident charm. Nothing forced, just Felix looking like the guy who naturally understands how to make preppy feel cool rather than stiff.

Photocall: No shirt, no problem
I’ll be honest, this was the moment where I really started rooting for him. Choosing one of Jonathan Anderson’s final Loewe menswear looks, Felix leaned into the slouchy tailoring that has been trending at this festival, without the safety net of a shirt, and it worked. The whole effect was relaxed, and modern.

Premiere: leading man energy
Then came the knockout. His bespoke double-breasted Loewe tux is the kind of look that stops you mid-scroll. It wasn’t flashy, it wasn’t trying too hard, but it was unforgettable. The red stripe and knit against the tux gave it an edge, while still being undeniably elegant. For me, this was one of the standout menswear moments of the festival so far. Betting on one brand truly paid off for him.

Golden Globes x Aman Beverly Hills Party
The day closed with a Loewe Fall 2025 taupe short suit, a clever exercise in proportion and tailoring that’s classic Jonathan Anderson. There’s a witty nod to schoolboy uniforms, but also a whiff of 1940s discipline—an intriguing push and pull between innocence and authority. The sharp lines bring an architectural precision, while the classic mid-century silhouette is reimagined with a fresh, contemporary edge. My only quibble? I’d have loved the socks and Campo derby shoes to sit in the same colour family as the suit for a cleaner finish.
