Shailene Woodley Wore Kallmeyer To The ‘Jay Kelly’ Venice Film Festival Premiere
If you’re already feeling gown fatigue (and why would you, when we’re only a few nights in?), Shailene Woodley has you covered with something different on the Venice Film Festival red carpet at the Jay Kelly premiere.

Instead of a sweeping train, the actress kept things sleek and short, very short, in a Kallmeyer Eloise black satin ruched mini dress from the brand’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection. And it worked, as Shailene looked sensational.
We’ve seen this style before. Ayo Edebiri wore the original iteration back in May, and Zoe Kravitz wore a custom pink version for the Caught Stealing after-party just this week. The fact that it’s already making multiple appearances on major red carpets means it’s well on its way to being the “it” dress of 2025. Let’s just cross our fingers it doesn’t reach The Vampire’s Wife levels of déjà vu.
Shailene styled her mini with Gianvito Rossi Ribbon sandals, plus Bvlgari Serpenti High Jewelry — necklace, earrings, and ring — the kind of finishing touches that instantly elevate a minimalist black dress.
And really, with legs like hers, why wouldn’t she go short?
