Natasha Lyonne Lit Up The Empire State Building In SHUSHU/TONG
To celebrate the release of Smurfs, Natasha Lyonne—who voices the eccentric Mama Poot—lit up the Empire State Building in New York with the Lollipop Theater Network, showing up in a look as playfully on-brand as the character herself.

While it’s a little disappointing that Natasha didn’t make it to the Berlin or LA premieres, this NYC outing still delivered the kind of quirky, theme-aware look I was hoping for.
Her black and blue SHUSHU/TONG Spring 2024 floral print dress, layered over black bloomer-style shorts, was a sweet-meets-spiky pairing that felt very her. And if you didn’t catch the homage in the dress, she made it loud and clear through those aqua blue slingback pumps, and earrings—all perfectly Smurf-coded.
Add her signature curls and that unwavering attitude, and the whole thing just worked.
