Tracee Ellis Ross was spotted outside NBC Studios this morning, all smiles and stripes, ahead of her guest appearance on the Today show to promote her new series Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross. And while the day is young and there’s surely more fashion to come, this first look already has my attention—and affection.

Wearing a look hot off the Jacquemus Spring 2026 runway, Tracee reminded us why she’s always one to watch. The bold blue and white stripes had all the energy of a summer getaway, while the voluminous proportions—balloon sleeves, bubble skirt, and all—delivered that signature Tracee drama we’ve come to crave.

Sure, some might pause at the super long sleeves or question the black shoes paired with a white clutch, but I’d rather focus on what’s working—and there’s plenty. I, for one, am relieved that her minimalist phase from last week seems to be in the rearview mirror. Long live her current love for statement earrings and larger-than-life silhouettes.

I adore this look from the ankles up—it’s vibrant, joyful, and the perfect antidote to the Monday blues. It carries that playful flair that feels distinctly Rosie Assoulin-coded.
