Celebrities at the ‘F1: The Movie’ London Premiere
The F1: The Movie London premiere attracted more celebrities on Monday night, and while the film celebrates speed and spectacle, the red carpet delivered a mixed bag of fashion fuel. Some stars brought track-ready glamour, while others appeared to have been side-swiped by Tommy Hilfiger tailoring.

Caution: Creases Ahead
I almost want to cry for Becky G. This Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2024 white suit might have had great intentions, especially as this was the first major premiere marking the official start of summer, but the fabric and those oversized patch pockets are downright shocking. How do you put someone as beautiful and camera-ready as Becky in something so tragic? Thankfully, she was glowing from the neck up — her glam team deserves a round of applause for that.

Wrinkle Me Not
Model Abby Champion may have been going for relaxed elegance in her Tommy Hilfiger crinkle-effect blouse and red suit combo, but I simply refuse to believe anyone is actually out here choosing to look like they’ve slept in their clothes. This is one “trend” I hope goes the way of low-rise jeans.
Time Travelling in Tailoring
Patrick Schwarzenegger used to be one of the bright lights of experimental menswear, but 2025 hasn’t been his year. His Tommy Hilfiger look tonight feels oddly dated—like something that would make more sense on a guest at a retirement gala than at a high-octane premiere. I feel like even Tommy would say, “No thanks.”

Preppy
Victor Kunda swerved the suit trap and instead gave us a coordinated moment in his Tommy Hilfiger APXGP Collection varsity jacket and shorts. The red, white, and blue striped shirt and red tie kept things cheeky and cohesive. It was playful, and mercifully wrinkle-free.

All Systems Go in Slit-High Glamour
DJ Peggy Gou was one of the highlights of the night for me. Her Acne Studios Fall 2025 dress, with its structured off-the-shoulder neckline and daring slit, was both commanding and sultry. But I’ll be honest—I still haven’t recovered from those gold chain-accented black pumps. They deserved their own premiere spotlight.

Sequins and Swagger
Naomi Campbell did what Naomi Campbell always does: owned the spotlight. Her Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2025 semi-sheer fringe embellished gown sparkled with every step. The Marlene bag and satin pumps kept things classic, but it’s the confident sashay that seals the deal every time.

Covering Up, Balenciaga Style
Tate McRae gave us a more covered-up version of the Balenciaga Fall 2025 bustier gown, trading the blue runway drama for a sleeker black version. If this signals Demna’s softening before his move to Gucci, I’m intrigued.

Ribbon Wrapped
Sarah Niles dared to be different in Maximilian Raynor. While I appreciate her commitment to colour and texture with this fuchsia ribbon dress, the execution felt chaotic. The cut-off finger leather gloves took it into costume territory—and not in a good way.

Suiting Up for Summer
Ed Sheeran brought a breath of fresh air in his pale blue suit, paired with a simple white t-shirt and coordinating Nike sneakers. It’s a great example of how menswear doesn’t have to do to much to be effective. It was breezy, and cool.
