Barbara Palvin Wore Miu Miu To ‘The History Of Sound’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Barbara Palvin joined fellow models Coco Rocha and Elsa Hosk on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet for The History of Sound premiere this evening, but I can’t help wondering if she has a personal vendetta against steamers.

Because once again, her gown looked like it had been folded out from a suitcase five minutes before call time.

As for this Miu Miu dress itself — I love the idea of this. The feathers, the slight retro feel, and the ’90s flipped ponytail that plays into that throwback glamour. But the execution just didn’t get there for me.

From the feathers up, yes. From the waist down, huge no.
