‘Highest 2 Lowest’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup
It’s fair to say that the Highest 2 Lowest premiere on Monday evening delivered one of the more varied red carpets so far at Cannes Film Festival.

When your dress is louder than your glam
Ester Expósito sparkled in an Armani Privé Spring 2025 gown that looked like a jewellery box exploded – in the most elegant way. Embellished with colourful gemstones, the dress needed no extra bells and whistles, and Ester wisely kept her makeup neutral, letting the artistry of the gown shine.

Winter Is Here … Apparently
Liya Kebede showed up looking like she had RSVP’ed to Berlin Film Festival – and I mean that lovingly. Her regal purple McQueen gown with dramatic ruffles and a high neck was rich, opulent and more winter runway than Côte d’Azur, but who’s complaining? She looked sensational, even if the calendar slightly disagreed.

Rule Breaker
Leomie Anderson clearly saw the no-nudity rule… and strutted right past it. Dressed in a sheer silver Sirivannavari Spring 2025 gown, she served up body, sparkle and defiance in one bold swoop. This wasn’t so much toeing the line as high-kicking over it, and honestly? She looked incredible doing it.

Classy Cut-Out
Anja Rubik traded in her usual black for a fresh ivory Saint Laurent satin gown, and what a reward. The elegant cut-out and silky finish were pure understated sophistication. This was minimalism at its most refined – no drama, all impact.

Retro lace
Carla Bruni stayed true to the Saint Laurent camp in a lace halter gown that brought a touch of vintage vibes to the red carpet. Chopard jewels completed her look.
