Emma Stone Wore Louis Vuitton To The ‘Eddington’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere
As you know, Cannes Film Festival occasionally likes to switch things up—sometimes a film premieres before the photocall, and Eddington was one of those moments, with Emma Stone hitting the red carpet this evening ahead of her daytime duties tomorrow.

Her custom Louis Vuitton dress? A study in minimalism with a side of intrigue. Nicolas Ghesquière has been leaning into restraint lately, and it’s clearly trickled into Emma’s look: a sleek white backless dress that, without a doubt, would’ve bordered on too simple were it not for that ribbed collar.
I can already hear you asking, “why throw on a asymmetrical topstitched bib straight out of the Louis Vuitton Fall 2023 collection?” Well, it’s a classic Ghesquière move—injecting a little house DNA. That particular bib was inspired by traditional French café uniforms, which ties back nicely to the locale. Très thematic, non?

While I found the back of the dress far more captivating (the open back was the moment), the look as a whole was… curious. Not Emma’s strongest Cannes showing, but it definitely gave us something to talk about.
