Julia Garner Wore Tom Ford To The ‘Eddington’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere
Julia Garner is clearly on a mission to keep things interesting at Cannes Film Festival this year.

Back on the red carpet for the Eddington premiere, the actress turned up the vintage-inspired glamour in a lilac fringe Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann dress that radiated 1920s flapper energy—just through a very contemporary, high-fashion lens.
I don’t think this was supposed to be a deliberate nod to nostalgia; rather, Julia naturally embodies that Old Hollywood essence. The slicked-back hair and moody dark lip added a modern edge—likely a conscious choice to keep the look from feeling too predictable.
Personally, I think a softer beauty look and some silver sandals would have worked better, but there’s no denying the impact, and overall I’m into her willingness to push the envelope. Julia’s Cannes style so far has had range, intention, and unpredictability—three things I’ll always cheer for on this red carpet.
