Alba Rohrwacher Wore Loewe To The L’Oreal Paris Dinner In Honor Of Women In Cinema Dinner

Alba Rohrwacher joined fellow Cannes jury member Halle Berry at the L’Oréal Paris dinner honouring women in cinema — and all I can say is, welcome back to the Alba we know and love.

When I saw she was working with Karla Welch for this festival, my expectations rose, because that Dior chapter (lovely as it was) really drained the fun from her wardrobe. Remember when she first arrived on the scene with that wonderfully oddball flair? She’s got that spark again.

This Loewe Fall 2025 look is red cords, surrealism, sculpture — call it what you want, but it’s bold, conceptual and brilliantly offbeat. Layered like an art installation over a sheer base, the dress plays with volume, texture and movement in a way that feels distinctly her.

Paired with custom red Loewe Toy pumps and rouged makeup, it’s the kind of look I could also see on Tracee Ellis Ross or Sarah Paulson — which, to me, signals she in great hands and is exactly where she needs to be. I knew this union would work.
