Ruffles for the win

You can absolutely bring the glamour in a not-so-long sweeping train, and Nava Mau is proof. The Baby Reindeer actress wore a Carolina Herrera Resort 2025 strapless gown featuring folded ruffles that added just the right amount of drama—no rule-breaking necessary. The sculptural detail brought a soft architectural edge, and with the addition of Pasquale Bruni jewels, the look felt effortlessly refined.

The dress said Grecian goddess, the brooch said beam me up

Isabeli Fontana looked statuesque in a custom Nicolas Jebran couture gown. The twisted detail and fluid fabric were beautiful on their own, but it was the Elsa Jin brooch perched on her shoulder that launched this look into a galaxy far, far away. It didn’t just accessorise—it gave the whole look a sci-fi twist that was unexpected and oddly fabulous.

Crystal peplum, cosmic slay

Speaking of intergalactic inspiration, Shanina Shaik gave us a Saturn-inspired moment with a futuristic flair. Her Sophie Couture gown came complete with a crystal-accented peplum that hovered like a glamorous asteroid belt. If we’re ranking celestial bodies by style, Shanina’s is definitely in orbit. Hassanzadeh Jewellery completed her look.

Red hot with a side of shredded seduction

Maria Borges delivered drama in a halter-neck, red satin Zuhair Murad Fall 2024 Couture gown that hugged and slashed in all the right places. The cut-outs with shredded detailing and that attached train made for a sultry, high-impact look that balanced sensuality with couture finesse.

Cannes Veteran

Alessandra Ambrosio wore Zuhair Murad Spring 2025 Couture like it was designed with her in mind. The strapless emerald gown, with its draped bodice and thigh-high slit, ticked all the red carpet boxes. But ruffled sleeves that added a playful couture twist. Finished with Pomellato jewellery, this look was a reminder that Alessandra knows how to deliver Cannes-worthy glamour in her sleep.
