Fantasia Barrino Wore Kyha Studios To The 2024 UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball

On Saturday, Fantasia Barrino was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2024 UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I was floored to see ‘The Color Purple’ star back to her pre-awards season best wearing a mermaid gown from Kyha Studios.

The Australia-based label is known for their wedding gowns which seek to break the rules, creating effortless bridal looks for the modern-day bride, but Fantasia looked every inch a movie star in her chocolate brown version of their Azul gown.

Cut from ethereal tulle to a romantic floor-skimming silhouette with draped and ruched details enhancing the silhouette, the look was styled with Alexis Bittar jewels and a gold clutch.

We learned a lot from awards season, and one of those things was that mermaid gowns are very much en vogue.

This look deserves a standing ovation for all those who contributed to this breath-taking look.
