Kylie Minogue Wore Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture, Dolce & Gabbana and Raey For The BRIT Awards 2024
Kylie Minogue was honoured with The BRIT Awards Global Icon Award, before the Australian singer performed a medley of her hits, delivering a high-energy performance which saw her live up to her nickname as the ‘Princess of Pop.’
She started the night wearing a custom Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2024 Haute Couture strapless dress.
We all know how petite Kylie is.
I’m saying that because I strongly believe that the styling is working against her.
Nude tights and a pair of shoes that didn’t cut her off at the ankle or compete with the ruffled skirt would have made this look stand out more.
For her performance, Kylie had a trio of custom looks designed by Dolce & Gabbana.
Echoing the music video for ‘Padam Padam,’ Kylie started out wearing a red motorcycle inspired trench coat.
Before a quick change revealing a one-shoulder black and white dress as she performed, ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.’
That was also removed for the final reveal of a patchwork gown enriched with black satin tapes, that was inspired by the Fall 2024 runway collection, for her performance of ‘Love At First Sight.’
It pains me deeply to say that I don’t like a single look, as each reveal was more painful than the last.
I think they should have commitment to one standout look.
This wasn’t a great night fashion-wise for Kylie. But she’s still the undisputed princess of pop.
Thanks to Ivancica for reminding me that there was one more look from Kylie, which she wore to collect her award.
This Raey Disco mirror-embellished slip dress was easily her best of the night. Not only for the style, and easy wearability, but so for its disco inspiration.
