Front Row @ Loewe Men’s Fall 2024

Catching up on some menswear front row, as Haute Couture Fashion Week took over.
Jonathan Anderson presented this Loewe Fall 2024 Menswear show last week, in front of a jam-packed front row.
Even though it was a menswear show, I’m starting with Taylor Russell.
From what I can see (and I’m not saying this was the case) it only looks like the actress is only wearing denim boots under that coat and an extraordinarily long scarf.

Andrew Garfield is known for this stylish tailoring, so it’s rare that he presents such a laidback look.
I know that you’re looking at those Loewe jeans and saying that they are way too long, which they are, but the hero piece is really that double zipper funnel neck sweater.

I love seeing Matt Bomer at fashion week, especially considering he has been having a lot more fun with fashion lately.
When it comes to his Loewe look, I’m thankful he had no issues navigating those high-waisted jeans.

Zayn Malik was serving up a look that would look great in the shires. Oxfordshire specifically.
For me the shoes and the shirt don’t work with this look.
I think he needs to get back with Jason Rembert. They were an formidable team.

Archie Madekwe rocked a mildly distressed Loewe ensemble, with corduroy trousers which look like he’s just started decorating.

Drew Starkey is one to watch for the future.
We need a promo tour from the actor to confirm, but considering he is styled by Warren Aflie Baker, who also looks after many A-listers including Andrew Garfield, we know he’s in safe hands.
It looks like super long Loewe jeans were trending in this front row, but I’m distracted by that shimmering jacket.

OK. We just stepped into comical, “what were you thinking?” territory.
I want to say Jack O’Connell didn’t wear these high-waisted trousers high enough, but even if he pulled them up to his nipples – à la Simon Cowell – they would still be ridiculously long.

Ridiculously long? Kevin Abstract said, “hold my beer.”

Jamie Dornan, Loewe’s newest ambassador, didn’t follow the denim trend in this front row, but he has never struck me as a “follow the trends” kinda guy.

The same applies to Joe Alwyn, although he appeared to be close considering those Loewe shades he’s holding.

Nicholas Hoult joined the turned up jeans gang.

Josh O’Connor is still in his quiet era.

Stephane Bak injected some French flair and elegance into this front row.
