Yara Shahidi joined a host of British celebrities on the red carpet for the Vogue World Party on Thursday (September 14).
I’m sure it hasn’t escaped your attention that Yara style has shifted.
Her signature loud colours aren’t as loud, and we are seeing her edge ever closer towards looks with minimalism in mind.
Take this Victoria Beckham satin maxi dress from the Fall 2023 collection for example, which relies heavily on the twisted flourish, artful arrangement of draped details and asymmetric cut high-low hem.
Some of you might be wishing that this look was saved for the British Fashion Awards in December considering the rich, blackberry-inspired hue, but I’m willing to overcome the Fall hue because the colour is breath-taking.
The fishnet tights instil a sultry element, with the Gen-Z platforms reminding us that despite being a red carpet veteran, she’s still only 23 years old.
