Yalitza Aparicio Wore Louis Vuitton To ‘The Promised Land’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Yalitza Aparicio made a return to the red carpet for the ‘Bastarden (The Promised Land)’ Venice Film Festival premiere on Friday (September 1).

A lot of time has passed since her awards season run for ‘Roma,’ but I remember it fondly.

The Mexican actress would serve glorious gown after glorious gown which were always full of colour and romance.

I would never put the words Louis Vuitton and romance in the same sentence, because they are the label you go to when you seek something with a lot more edge.

So, I was surprised to see Yalitza wearing this mini tweed and vinyl accented Louis Vuitton dress, but not disappointed.

Despite a strong feeling of familiarity in this style and design, I do love it when a celebrity makes a style statement or when they switch gears and go in a different direction.

I wouldn’t say it is a risk that paid off, because the silhouette does imbue a charm that we do associate with Yalitza’s style.

Cartier jewels completed her stand out look.
