Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda weekend extravaganza took place this weekend with celebrities arriving at Borgo Egnazia on Friday (July 7) in Puglia, Italy.
Helen Mirren, who hosted the opening event, looked as graceful as ever wearing a custom Dolce & Gabbana draped tulle gown, which some might have deemed too muted for the event had it not been for the Alta Gioielleria jewels.
We all know how much Helen loves a headband, so I was most surprised to see her forgo her favourite accessory on this occasion.
A sun kissed Lucien Laviscount kept his cool wearing a white Dolce & Gabbana crinkle shirt.
Crinkle fabric has been making a bit of a comeback on the red carpet, as designers relish the retro finish, which could see the steamer becoming redundant for the time being.
Alessandra Ambrosio’s Dolce & Gabbana nude sensual cone bra dress was in stark contrast to her Armani look from last week.
Bringing a dazzling touch to her dress with this choker, the look was finished with a Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily PVC bag.
Rose gold accessories would’ve been preferred here.
Considering the temperatures in Puglia this weekend, Pelayo Diaz made the right choice in wearing this breezy, sheer lace tunic and trousers look from the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2024 menswear collection.
Leonie Hanne also went the sheer route wearing a Dolce & Gabbana asymmetric sheer floor-length dress from the Spring 2023 collection.
Did she need the D&G choker with this look? I’m not so sure.
Diana Ross was the guest performer at the event, and in true diva fashion she dazzled on stage wearing an Dolce & Gabbana embellished dress styled with a dramatic bolero which was a classic Miss Ross look.
